Welcome to Journal of Interdisciplinary Language Studies and Dialect Research (JINDAR). As a premier interdisciplinary platform, JINDAR is dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research that bridges theoretical insights and practical implications in the domains of human interaction, education, and language development. Below, you will find detailed guidelines to assist you in preparing your manuscript for submission to JINDAR.

1. Submission Categories
JINDAR welcomes submissions in the following research formats:
- Original Research Articles: Detailed reports of empirical research with clear implications for theory and practice in the fields of interest.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive analyses of specific topics within the journal's scope, synthesizing current research findings.
- Case Studies: In-depth analyses of individual cases or events that provide new insights or perspectives on the journal’s fields of interest.
- Perspectives/Commentaries: Opinion pieces or essays on emerging trends, policy implications, or theoretical debates in the journal’s scope.
2. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Formatting Requirements:
- File Format: Submit your manuscript as a Microsoft Word or LaTeX document.
- Font and Spacing: Use a 12-point, Calisto MT font with double-spacing and 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Manuscript Length varies by submission category, as outlined above.
- Language and Grammar: Manuscripts must be submitted in English. Authors for whom English is a second language are encouraged to have their manuscript professionally edited before submission to ensure clarity, grammar, syntax, and structure.
Manuscript Structure:
- Title Page: Include the title of the manuscript, author names and affiliations, corresponding author contact information, and any acknowledgments.
- Abstract: Provide a concise summary of the manuscript, not exceeding 250 words, highlighting the main findings and significance of the work.
- Keywords: List 4-6 keywords that describe the manuscript content.
- Main Text: Organize the main text into Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion sections. Ensure clarity and conciseness throughout.
- References: Follow the latest APA style guidelines for in-text citations and the reference list.
- Figures and Tables: Integrate figures and tables within the text at appropriate points. Provide clear, high-resolution images and concise legends.
Supplementary Materials:
- Include any relevant supplementary materials (datasets, technical appendices, additional figures or tables) in a separate file.
3. Submission Process
Online Submission:
- Manuscripts must be submitted through JINDAR’s online submission portal. Instructions for creating an account and navigating the system are available on the website.
Cover Letter:
- The cover letter should address the manuscript’s contribution to the field, its fit with the journal’s scope, and confirm that it is not under consideration elsewhere.
4. Review and Decision Process
Peer Review:
- JINDAR employs a double-blind peer review process. Authors may suggest potential reviewers but the editorial team will make the final decision on reviewer selection.
Decision:
- Authors will be notified of the decision (accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject) along with reviewer comments.
5. Ethical Guidelines
JINDAR adheres to the highest ethical standards. Authors must ensure their work complies with ethical norms regarding plagiarism, data fabrication, and dual submission. Studies involving human participants must have received ethics committee approval.
6. Post-Acceptance
Following acceptance, authors will receive instructions for proofreading their manuscript and finalizing any necessary revisions before publication.
